Make-up review: Shiro Cosmetics
I have decided to use this as my main blog now- for everything. Before, I had a seperate blog which I used soley for make-up but I found it so much trouble to keep updating two blogs.. so now I'm moving it all on here.
Whose a make-up fan?
Here are some swatches of a indie brand that I adore.
Shiro cosmetics stands for all things geeky and beautiful, selling eyeshadows and various other products inspired by .... geeky things. The thing that brought me to them was their Legend of Zelda inspired shadows and Pokemon (super effective) inspired shadows.
I brought my order in April 2011, when the owner was operating on etsy (the staple for the majority of Indie make-up sellers) and when she only had like two sets on sale. She has since then updated, getting herself a beautifully decorated website (shirocosmetics.com) and re-vamped the old sets and brought out new ones.
Here is my order:
(Please note aswell, since she revamped most of the names have changed and some she doesn't actually sell anymore)

The swatches:

These are all beautiful colours, some more opaque than others.
The only issue that I have with them is that the formula is very light, that it does become a little harder to pack on the colour and blend the evenly at times.
Not only that majority of the shades are very shimmery and I would have loved to have seen some really dence matte shadows... although, I don't know if Shiro has updated the formula since.
I will say though that Lance the Dragon Trainer has to be one of the most unique, most beautiful colours that I have fallen in love with :). its like a grey Lilac with beautiful glitter embedded into the shadow.
What do you guys think?
I am in love with shiro and I have to do orders with them again :)
